The grass itself is only part of it — the base preparation (removing the lawn, laying and compacting the sub-base, membrane, edging) is what makes it last, and that's what varies between gardens. We survey and quote the whole job as one fixed price.
Can artificial grass be laid on concrete or paving?
Yes, if the surface is sound and drains. We fit a shock-pad underlay so it feels right underfoot and doesn't show the joints below. Cracked or uneven concrete needs sorting first.
Does artificial grass get hot in summer?
It gets warmer than a real lawn in direct sun, but lighter-coloured, higher-quality piles stay comfortable, and a quick hose cools it instantly. We'll show you the difference between grades at the survey.
